How to find us using public transport

By rail

Take a train to either CHIPPENHAM or SWINDON. Both stations are approximately 10 miles from the gardens and have bus links with Malmesbury.

By bus

The following buses mostly run every hour Monday to Friday:

Bath to Chippenham X31 45 mins, then 92 35 mins 
Bristol to Yate then 41 50 mins
Chippenham 92  35 mins
Cirencester 93 30 – 40 mins
Swindon 31  45 - 50 mins
Yate 41 50 mins

Once in Malmesbury

Abbey House Gardens lie two minutes walk from the bus stops in the Cross Hayes (shown as a red bus in the map below). 

Walk along Market Lane beside the Town Hall passing the Tourist Information Centre and turn left towards the 15th Century Market Cross.  At the Market Cross turn right.   The entrance to Abbey House Gardens is along the lane to the right of "The Whole Hog" public house.
