WEATHER: Wondering what to do about the weather? Well Malmesbury is known for its poor potatoes because it doesn’t get enough rain - even rain forecast often slides by the side of our ancient hill to pass us by. If it does rain you’ll see the colours better and enjoy more perfume from the plants, we can lend you an umbrella, there is shelter by the refreshment counter and under the Belvedere (60 seats) where there is a video to watch and regular exhibitions. On windy days the C16th house shelters you and if it’s too hot the river gardens offer cool shade. Everything you need really whatever the weather!
