Local Malmesbury historian and friend of the Abbey House Gardens Jenifer Roberts proudly used the Belvedere Room  to celebrate the publication of her new book 'The Madness of Queen Maria' in September of 2009. The book examines in detail the remarkable life of Maria I of Portugal.
